La Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster è la variante spider a due posti della V8 Vantage Coupé. Ha debuttato nel 2007 ed è equipaggiata con il motore V8 di 4.75 litri che eroga una potenza massima di 426 CV, abbinato anche al cambio robotizzato Sportshift. La V8 Vantage Roadster raggiunge una velocità massima di 290 km/h ed accelera da 0 a 100 in 4,9 secondi. Ha la carrozzeria realizzata interamente in alluminio, mentre lo schema tecnico è di tipo transaxle, ovvero con il motore posizionato all’avantreno e il cambio al retrotreno. Invece, la capote è in tela. Oltre che dal frazionamento del motore, il nome della Aston Martin V8 Vantage deriva dalla supercar che fu introdotta nei primi anni ’70.
