La Jeep Grand Cherokee è la SUV di dimensioni medio grandi con doti da fuoristrada della Casa statunitense, giunta nel 2005 alla terza generazione e poi sottoposta ad un leggero restyling nel 2008. E’ lunga 475 cm, larga 187 cm e alta 174 cm, mentre il passo misura 278 cm. La Grand Cherokee è l’unico modello dell’attuale gamma Jeep ad esser stato sottoposto al test Euro NCAP, in cui ha conquistato 4 stelle. La gamma è declinata negli allestimenti Laredo, S Limited ed Overland. In Italia, la Grand Cherokee è disponibile solo con il motore 3.0 CRD da 218 CV di origine Mercedes, abbinato alla trazione integrale permanente e al cambio automatico con riduttore. E’ in arrivo la quarta generazione.
