La Porsche Cayman è la variante coupé a 2 posti della Boxster, introdotta sul mercato nel 2005 e poi sottoposta al restyling di metà carriera nel 2008. E’ disponibile in due versioni, entrambe con motore boxer a 6 cilindri: la Cayman equipaggiata con il 2.9 da 265 CV di potenza e la Cayman S mossa dal 3.4 da 320 CV di potenza che consente alla coupé di Zuffenhausen di raggiungere 277 km/h di velocità massima e accelerare da 0 a 100 in 5,2 secondi. Le versioni Cayman e Cayman S derivano, rispettivamente, dai modelli Boxster e Boxster S, rispetto a cui sviluppano una potenza maggiore di esattamente 10 CV. Si colloca nella gamma Porsche tra la Boxster e la 911.
